Random Journal - Housepets!

Hey everyone it's your favorite Lucario Brandon here!
In the waiting up to the next Pokeumans chapter and The Story of Reggie I thought I might do a series of journals where I rant about certain, random topics I feel need attention.

Now, part of the reason I've been so procrastinaty is because I got hooked on something, and for the past 6 months I have been in love with the webcomic Housepets!
For those of you who watch may know about this particular webcomic, but I feel that more people should read it. It was created by artist and it's about a universe where pets can walk and talk just like us. It features pet-siblings Peanut the dog and Grape the cat as they get into all sorts of slice-of-life scenarios. Also among them is King, a human who was turned into a dog (yes the same one from Things Not to Do in A Pokeuman Base), his friend Fox, and all sorts of diverse characters.

The comic is presented here at www.housepetscomic.com and is updated Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Part of the reason I chose this topic to rant about is because for the past 5 months I've been heavily moderating the wikia (www.housepetscomic.wikia.com) and that's where a lot of my focus has been going. In fact I was recently named Number #1 on that wikia, having created at least 40 pages for it, and I usually  try to get in one edit a day.

Unlike other comics I've never gotten bored of Housepets, it's a beautiful example of wonderful playful narrative, interesting characters, deep intrinsic storylines, quirky humor and anime references. There are 90 story arcs, and still more to come. It's a PG rated comic, so it's safe for all of you to read, and I write this journal in hopes you all will go out and read it to. (And support Rick among the way!)

 Anyways, that's it for this rant journal. Also get hyped for the new Mystery Dungeon game coming this winter! The Story of Reggie will be released June 1st, and the next chapter update should come along soon. Thanks for listening, and see you next time!
