Literature Text

John Ross Kanid was being dragged to the mall with his parents. He sighed as his mother and father finished their latest argument and got out of the car. His life was terrible. His parents were on the edge of a divorce, they in turn never paid attention to him, and he was bitter and angry with the world. He grumbled as he walked through parking lot K-9 and into the mall. His mom, Brenda, already in her fifties, shoved a ten dollar bill in his hand. "Meet back at this entrance at four o' clock, do whatever," his father Corey said with a sigh. His parents parted, and John was left on his own.

He spent an hour wandering around, looking at the new releases on games, staring at the infomercial for the new e-cigarette, and going into the Apple Store to look at the computers. He then spend seven dollars on a burger at the food court and finally looked at the puppies in the pet store. He felt bitter jealousy as they stared happily back at him, licking the glass between their faces. It wasn't fair. Why did these creatures get to live a happy life with caring people when he couldn't?!

He found his way to a purple fortune telling tent in the center of the mall. It was free and John didn't have anything else to do, so after rolling his eyes he decided to step inside. An old, wrinkly woman wearing purple sat at a table, holding a crystal ball. John sat down and folded his arms.

"So old lady, whatcha got for me?"

The fortuneteller sat there with her eyes closed, rubbing the crystal ball while mumbling. John sighed and rolled his eyes, he didn't buy this psychic stuff.

After a few seconds, the fortuneteller opened her eyes.

"I see a troubled boy, whose only wish is to have a happy and loving family."

That got John's attention. He snapped forward and leaned on the table, looking directly in the woman's eyes.

"How did you know that? What are you some kind of mind reader?!"

She shook her head, pulled out some silvery dust from a bag and blew it in John's face. He reeled back and started coughing.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" he shouted.

The fortuneteller shook her head again. "I am granting you your wish."

In a fit of rage, John grabbed the crystal ball and threw it on the ground, shattering it into pieces before storming off out of the tent. The woman smiled before quietly sweeping up the pieces, taking another ball out of her bag and finally polishing it with a smile.

An hour later, it was four o' clock, and John was standing at the entrance. He grumbled as he checked his watch every few minutes. When the clock struck five, John grumbled as he looked for his missing parents.

He started walking down the familiar rows of stores, grumbling. He checked the shoe store, the Apple Store, the food court, the clothing store, the toy store, the stupid store where you can build your own stuffed rabbit, the merry-go-round, the fountain, really covered every store in the place. Finally, he returned to the pet store where he finally saw his mother's platinum blonde hairstyle. He walked up to her and poked her on the shoulder.

"Mom, what are you doing here?"

When she turned around, John gasped. She looked just like his mother, except much younger, like she was in here twenties. She was also wearing the pet store's employee vest with a name tag with Brenda Waterson printed on it, his mother's maiden name.

"Hello young man, can I help you?"

John gasped, even her voice was younger.

"Mom? It's me John, what are you doing here?" John asked again.

The woman gave him a confused look, "I'm sorry, but I think you're confusing me for someone else. I don't have any children. Can I help you look for your mother?"

Confused, John backed away. "No-No thanks, I-I thought you were someone else." Freaked out at this point, John quickly backed out of the pet store. He started walking again, hoping to find mall security and help him locate his mom and dad.

As he passed by the Apple Store, he started to feel hot and sweaty. All of a sudden, the stores began to grow larger. John held his head in confusion as his jacket slid off his shoulders. He turned to the store behind him (which quite conveniently was a mirror store) and gasped.

"W-What's going on?" stammered John. He was 5'8 a minute ago, but now he was the size of a second grader! He had shrunk!

Some of the silver powder from earlier was itching his nose and he suddenly got the powerful urge. He covered his nose and sneezed loudly, feeling his face stretch forward. When he took his hands off his face, he saw in the mirror that his nose pushed itself outward, forming a tight muzzle. John yelped as he touched his new nose, which was black, wet and small. He looked around, hoping that no one would see him, but no one was noticing. They were oblivious to the boy with a dog's face. He gasped as he felt pressure near his rump. Turning his head, a large bump began to form from his pants. Feeling the pressure, hw quickly pulled down the back of his pants and freed a long tail covered with golden fur.

Seeing a restroom nearby, he dashed inside, ran into the stall and locked it. Gasping heavily, he shivered with his tail between his legs. He touched his canine face. It was real; he was becoming a Golden Retriever. He started to sweat as a surge of hot energy coursed through his body. He tore off his hoodie jacket and T-shirt and dropped them onto the ground. The fur literally exploded from his skin, covering his torso in a think course layer of hair. As his mind was racing, his back cracked with an audible snap and he collapsed on all fours. His pants fell to his ankles, it was useless to try and get them back on. Panicking, he crawled out from under the stall, completely naked. With the transformation progressing faster, he didn't have much time.

John dashed out of the bathroom on all fours, yelling for help. Golden fur spread down his legs as he ran. No one was aware of his presence. He ran up to a man and grabbed his pant leg.

"Mister! Please help me!"

The man didn't take notice, neither did the woman he was with. He simply walked away, oblivious to him. John was starting to panic, he ran on all fours up and down, past the stores, howling for anyone-anyone, to notice him. He finally made his way to the pet store, where his 'mother' was still working. A he ran into the pet store, his 'mother' picked him up and started petting him.

"Mom! What's going on?! What's…..arf….grrr…..bark….."

Her gentle patting started to relax his whole body and slowly the fear and confusion started to fade. Unable to control himself, he stuck his long tongue out and began to pant happily. After a while, his 'mother' carried him to a pen and placed him inside. With all of his cares washed away, John slowly drifted into a lazy sleep.

When he woke up, the clock outside struck eight o' clock. John slowly woke up and shook his head. Where was he? His memory was really fuzzy. He stepped forward and yelped when he hit his nose on something. He placed a paw on this invisible barrier that was blocking his path. He saw the lady with the platinum blonde hair. Why did she look so familiar? His ears perked up as a young man in his twenties wearing a polo shirt and a pair of khakis walked up to her holding a bouquet of roses behind his back. John tilted his head in confusion, he looked really familiar too.

"Oh Brenda, I have a question to ask you," he said while giving her the flowers.

The woman took them and smelled the flowers, "Corey! How sweet! What is it?"

John watched as Corey kneeled on one knee, reached into his pocket, pulled out a little box and opened it up, revealing something shiny.

"Brenda, will you marry me?"

Everyone in the store began clapping their hands together as Brenda said yes and the two hugged. John didn't know exactly what was going on, but he somehow felt......happy.

The two people hugged each other before Corey stepped back and pulled out his wallet.

"For our engagement present, I want to buy you the puppy you love so much!"

Corey pointed his finger in John's direction. John turned his head, there was no one in the pen besides him. Brenda walked over with a smile and picked John up. She carried him to the counter, where Corey paid for him. Then, John found himself inside a cardboard box, where he fell asleep again.

When he woke up, he was on a soft sofa. It looked…really familiar. He couldn't quite remember…maybe it was from a dream. His two owners put a red collar around his neck.

"What should we name him?" asked Corey.

The woman thought for a second, "Hmm, how about John? I've always loved that name."

Corey smiled, "John it is. Welcome to our new family!"

John…that name sounded familiar. The puppy shook his head before smiling and placing his head back down on the couch. I guess it was his name from now on, but it didn't matter, these people loved him and that's all he really wanted.

The next day in the purple tent, the fortuneteller was blowing silver powder in the faces of two squabbling sisters…
Well, I've made another Animal TF story, which I haven't done for a while. Anyways, it's another Dog TF, well more like a puppy TF. Also contains age regression. I'll keep making these in my spare time.

When John stumbles across a mysterious woman who grants him a wish, he'll get it one way or another.

Enjoy folks!
